I’m stepping out of my teenage years and going into adulthood soon…(ahem, it’s 12th Dec as a gentle reminder) and I’ve never really sat down to ponder what my life would be like by then. How would working life be? How would my social life be? How would everything be? I kinda take things as they come…and sometimes, making a choice becomes a stressful task (I don’t handle stress very well…:( )

Now, on to the topic…

Well, I was with my mom in her friend’s house just now and we all or rather they sat down to talk while i listen. The topics they discussed were:-

• War in Lebanon (CNN was on…acceptable to me)
• Family (children,sisters,brothers…still acceptable to me)
• Property (yuck..it’s just a time to show off who has what and who hasn’t got anything)
• Education (ok…so so to me)
• Work (who does what, who’s the chairman, you-know-who, i-know-who)

Well, in uni the list would be like this:-

• what’s the latest movie (ok…nice to keep up)
• where to shop (lovely)
• dota (shoosh…go away man..)
• futsal (dun play it, so dunno much abt it)
• who’s the cute guy round the corner (woohoo)
• who’s the cute girl round the corner (nah-ah)

and the list is neverending.
