Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Matt 22: 37-40

Get that right and everything will be right.  How to love the Lord with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind?  Through worship.

When I was a new Christian, worship to me would mean singing.  Sing sing sing.  Cry cry cry.  As I matured, God revealed to me the true meaning of worship.  Worship is to give my worth to Him.  How do I see Him as?  How much do I value God?

Worship comes in different shapes and sizes.  Lately, I learned that obedience is the highest form of worship and I have yet to discover more of it.  Worship is like I said singing too.  Singing praises to Him, telling Him that I love Him and reflecting on the love that He gives.  Worship is also doing tithe and offering.  I can go on and on about it but the gist of worship is to give your worth to God.  Everything.  Your heart, your soul and your mind.

But why worship God?  God has created us for relationship with Him and in each of us, there is a void that can only be filled with Him and only Him – a God shaped void.  When God fills that void, O, I can tell you that life is just different.  We can strive all we want, all we can in life to get a multitude of things done but  when He is in the picture…Life is just wonderful.  Impossible is out of the question when God’s in the house!  It’s not in His will that we suffer in studies, jobs etc After all, He is here to give life and life abundantly (John 10:10)  So come on, let’s worship, unlock the supernatural and operate in it!
