Orientation in Monash was awesomeeeee…we had 49 names so far and hopefully will get them all to know more about Planetshakers, Planetuni, UL and of course, Conference! It’s awkward at times but I guess it’s all about the mindset. The verse that Ps Nat Joyce shared yesterday at in NCNP discipleship came very timely for all who attended the discipleship and helped out at orientation today. The verse was Romans 1:16 ; I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. There was some awkwardness putting ourselves out there to meet people but we shouldn’t be ashamed for the cause of us doing that.
We packed up about 4pm and headed home about 5. I was planning to make barley water for the house since E-Lyn and Caryn were feeling sick. I guess it’s the weather and the food, could be a little heaty. I took out the barley and placed it somewhere and was going to prepare the pot and water that I will use. BUT, the kitchen was attacked by ants!!! I spent the next half hour cleaning up the counter and by the time I was done, I forgot where I put the packet of barley. I searched for it and gave up after 10 minutes.
I went to bed and dozed off instead.
I still dont’ know where it is!!!

i wanted to make barley water one of the days last year too. i left it boiling and went back to my room. i totally forgot about it until the chao tar smell slipped through my room through central heating. only to realise i had to throw the pot altogether.
talk about forgetfulness. old already.
